The fact that a bed has the Svane FlexSystem means that you can change and turn the main mattresses and lower mattresses to achieve the ultimate level of comfort and firmness. All mattresses have a firm side and a softer side. By turning the two layers of sprung mattresses in different ways, you ensure a whole four degrees of firmness in one and the same bed. A smart and unique feature that you only get with Svane beds. The Svane FlexSystem gives you adjustable firmness, customized comfort and longer durability.

Two different mattresses

Most Svane continental beds have different types of mattresses in the upper and lower layers. Both layers have DuoSystem, a firmer and a softer side of the mattress. By turning the mattresses, and possibly swapping the top and bottom layers, you can adjust the bed’s softness to suit your needs.

Two identical mattresses

Some of our continental beds have the same type of mattress in the top and bottom layers. These can also provide a number of different levels of softness in the bed, but you may not feel as great a difference as you would in a bed with different mattress types. However, these beds have one. big advantage: when the mattress topper becomes a bit worn, simply place the bottom mattress on top, and you get the comfort you've become used to. This extends the life of the bed.
